Do we need to change anything for the Championship next year?
10 August 2010 | Eric Scheeren
Competitors, now is the time to have your say about the CAMS NSW Supersprint Championship for 2011
Over the next couple of months the panel will be looking over the 2010 rules and regs seeing what's fine, what needs to be tweaked and what needs to be changed.
Check out the full details on the RULES and REGS page , but overall there are six types of vehicles included:
Type 1 Unmodified Production Cars (excluding Four Wheel Drive Turbos, Clubmans, Kit Cars and Replicas).
Type 2 Modified Road-Registered Vehicles (excluding Clubmans, Kit Cars and Replicas).
Type 3 Competition vehicles based on Group 3J - Improved Production Cars rules as defined in the CAMS Manual.
Type 4 Competition vehicles based on Group 3D - Sports Sedan rules as defined in the CAMS Manual.
Type 5 Open Wheelers as defined under 1st Category Racing Cars in the CAMS Manual
Type SV Road registered vehicles with no limit on modifications
Are there vehicles that we aren't catering for?
The panel is also looking at the rules which govern the championship.
Currently we compete for Outright, Type, Class and Club.
Are any changes needed here?
The Supersprint Panel wants your suggestions, queries, comments and advice via email through the website contact page here: CONTACTS
We will consider all input at the next two panel meetings and will put up a selection in the News Section of the webpage.
